My name is Miranda Walton and I love being a 6th grade teacher at CIS!

I'm originally from Alabaster but currently live in Calera with my dogs Chloe and Ava. I graduated from Troy University in 2018 with a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre and then graduated from the University of Montevallo in 2021 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. 

I love to read, spend time with my family, eat pizza & Taco Bell and cheer on the G.O.A.T Nick Saban. I've always dreamed of being a teacher and I am so grateful to be able to work at such an amazing school and teach such wonderful students.
