Bio
My name is Lisa Brown, and I am blessed to be the assistant principal here at Clanton Intermediate School. I was born and raised in Clanton where I was a 1996 graduate of Chilton County High School. I graduated in 2000 with my Bachelors of Science from the University of Montevallo in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I then taught 2nd and 3rd grades at Sharp Creek Elementary in Carrollton, Georgia for 7 years. During that time, I received my Masters in Educational Administration in 2005 from the University of West Georgia. I was so excited to move back to my hometown in 2009 where I taught 4th grade for 11 amazing years. When I'm not working (When is that?), I can be found with my nose in a good book, Facetiming with my niece, Kenzie, who lives in Missouri, or binge watching my favorite shows on Netflix.
